Futures signals, the common questions

Straight answers on futures alerts: verification, grades, pricing and what separates a re-checkable service from a chatroom.

Are futures signals worth paying for?

Only when the service can actually prove its past calls, and most cannot, because the losers quietly disappear and a green screenshot proves nothing about when the call was made. Paid is not the marker of quality; re-checkable is. More: the three conditions that have to hold first.

How do I know a futures signal wasn't edited after the move?

Ask whether the call was timestamped to a public ledger at publication, before the outcome was known. If it was, changing any field — entry, target, stop or grade — would break the hash so it no longer matches the public receipt. The desk pick anchors every call to Bitcoin this way. More: fixed before settlement, and how to check one yourself.

What win rate should a futures signal service have?

There is no magic number, and a number on its own is close to meaningless. A 70% win rate shown across 690 signals with every losing call left in beats a 95% headline that hides how many trades sit behind it. Demand the denominator first. More: why the count beside it is the whole test.

Can I follow just one model instead of all four?

Yes. The single-model plan is $20 a month, so you can follow one model without paying for horizons you will never act on. The all-models plan is $50 a month on a 14-day free trial, and a separate Pro Access tier runs $5,000 a quarter. There is no money-back guarantee, so judge it on the trial.

What do the A-to-D grades mean?

Each call carries a conviction grade from A (highest) to D (lowest), set by where it sits in its own model's measured return distribution. There is no E grade; it was retired so the scale stays meaningful. Because the grade is hashed with the call, it is fixed before the outcome is known. More: grades with arithmetic, with the per-model bars.

Is this the same as copy-trading or a managed futures account?

No. A signal service tells you what it would do and leaves the decision and the execution to you. Copy-trading mirrors another account automatically; a managed account hands a third party discretion over your capital. Nothing here involves giving anyone your funds or your trade button.

Are free futures signals a scam?

Not by definition. The problem is verifiability and incentives, not the price tag. Many free channels are broker affiliate funnels that earn on your sign-up, so check the revenue model before trusting the calls — a free channel you can fully audit beats a paid one you cannot. More: the affiliate-revenue red flag.

Who is behind the recommended service?

Darren O'Neill, the 2023 Trading World Champion, who also posted real-money results in the 2025 World Cup Trading Championships. He publishes four mean-reversion models and anchors every call to Bitcoin before the outcome is known. His record is independently corroborated rather than self-reported.
